Who Are We?

At The Helping Hand Project, we are dedicated to championing the limb difference community and equipping individuals with the knowledge and tools to make a positive impact.

Leveraging the power of 3D printing, we strive to provide children with specially designed, cost-free recreational prosthetic devices. Our mission extends beyond prosthetic—we foster a sense of belonging by organizing community events that unite children with limb differences, reassuring them that they are never alone.

Our Impact

As the first Helping Hand Project chapter, the UNC Helping Hand Project began in 2014. Since then, we have donated 30+ devices and connected 100+ families in the limb difference community.
